From his origins on Sydney’s northern beaches, to the frozen islands at the top of Norway, Mark Clinton has drawn from locations far and wide, making his name both in stunning outdoor environments and the intimacy of lifestyle moments. From mountaintops to the surf and everything in between, his ability to find the heart of a scene has allowed him a unique photography career.
Mark is interested in the lifestyle and experiences of his subjects, and finds that the camera gives him a platform to immerse himself in what he is seeing through the lens. While the environment, and pushing himself within it, is a key part of what drives him, he is equally fascinated by the small moments and the intrigue of humanity. Mark moves seamlessly from lifestyle to landscape, from remote locations to TVC's.
His hunger and motivation is continuously drawing him to progress and go to whatever lengths necessary to get that perfect shot. Whether that’s 18,000ft in an unpowered glider or between the legs of a camera operator on set, his passion is undeniable.
