Hugh has collaborated extensively with Academy Award-winning director Baz Luhrmann on Romeo & Juliet, Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby, and Elvis.
His portraits have been exhibited at The National Portrait Galleries, London, and Canberra. In 2020 he was highly commended in the National Portrait Prize, Canberra. Hugh is based in Sydney Australia and works from his studios in Halls Lane Woollahra and Station Street Co-Op in Bangalow.
